Jaffna District Leads the Way in SLCBC 2nd Regional Excellence Awards Submissions

209 application forms were officially submitted from Jaffna District today (29.04.2026) for the SLCBC 2nd Consecutive Regional Excellence Awards, which are held with the aim of encouraging small, medium and large scale entrepreneurs.
Following the initial submission of 155 applications, an additional 209 application forms were handed over today from entrepreneurs applying for the SLCBC 2nd Consecutive Regional Excellence Awards through the Divisional Secretariats.
The Government Agent of Jaffna District, Mr. Maruthalingam Pratheepan, handed over the applications received from the various Divisional Secretariats in the Jaffna District to Mohamed Hameez , Presidant of the Sri Lanka Canada Business Council.

The event was attended by Additional Government Agent Mr. K. Sivakaran, District Planning Director Mr. I. Surendranathan, Mr. Priyantha Padmasiri Chandrasekara immediate past presidant of Sri Lanka – Canada Business Council.
